Account Executive – Digital Marketing

The main responsibility of the Digital Marketing Account Executive will be to support the Account Head in leading and coordinating development & roll-out of pan-European Digital Marketing activities. This includes the support of the Senior Account Manager in the maintenance, development and execution of all European digital marketing campaigns & projects from initiation to implementation which deliver against the brand and business objectives for one major Automotive Account. The Digital Marketing Account Executive will work with a set of external partners and third parties for areas such as creative development, IT, Media and other specialised areas. He/she will also work closely with internal departments at the European Headquarter, across the agency network as well as European markets and other business teams on the client side.

Main tasks, the Account Executive will support in:

  • Managing account activities from initial brief to end of project reporting
  • Actively managing all aspects of client relationship to achieve highest level of client satisfaction by ensuring work meets client expectations and runs on time/ on budget and by maintaining knowledge of clients’ business, competition, latest industry news and trends
  • Supporting the sell of best solution to the client by understanding his needs and framework of operation by liaising with design/creative/technical resources and use of own judgment
  • Developing cost effective & justifiable responses to client requirements
  • Using creative/technical judgment skills to ensure all jobs are consistent with the project objectives and the brand strategy
  • Ensuring contractual agreements with client & third party agencies are fulfilled
  • Encouraging and develop new business opportunities
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation: project plan, brief, status reports, risk assessment plans, change requests
  • Analysing outcome and performance indicators of digital marketing campaigns

Profile:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing & Communication or Online Marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in international agency & automotive digital marketing including CMS management and mobile marketing
  • Experience in managing social media marketing programs (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogs, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge of website production, creative & application development
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with metric/analytic tools is a plus
  • CRM experience is a plus
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in team environment
  • Communicative skills in English both written and verbal; further languages are a plus
